Unless otherwise stated, the lawyers practising in Germany are admitted to practice under the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Bar Association for the Higher Regional Court District of Munich is the competent supervisory authority.

Information on professional indemnity insurance
Professional liability insurance is maintained with HDI Versicherung AG, HDI-Platz 1, 30659 Hanover. Lawyers are obliged by the Federal Lawyers' Act to maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum sum insured of EUR 250,000.00. The details can be found in §51 BRAO. With regard to the Partnerschaftsgesellschaft mbB, we are obliged to maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum sum insured of EUR 500,000.00. The insurances are valid in Germany & Europe.
